Welcome to California's "great white mountain", Mt. Shasta, at 14,132 feet above sea level the second highest summit in the Cascade chain of volcanos.

Climbers flock to Mount Shasta from all over the world for good reason, making it likely you'll find at least a few others sharing the route (especially if you attempt the popular Avalanche Gulch).
