A friend has been asking me about Backcountry Access’ Alpine Trekkers, and I occasionally see forum posts from skiers who are curious about them as well.

The Alpine Trekker is a binding adapter that converts your Alpine Rig into a free heel backcountry setup. I used the Trekkers extensively for several seasons before switching over to dedicated A/T gear.
