October Rain

Heavy rain here in the basin—and relatively cold, also. Is it really only October? I'm getting a crazy impulse to grab my skis and head for the high country. Not sure what's happening elsewhere in the state, but I bet there's going to be skiable snow up there somewhere...

Word is there’s dustings of snow up in the Tahoe area, but down here near as I can tell it’s all rain.

  2. Joseph says:

Did whitney on Sept 30, there have been dustings of snow from Olancha up to the Palisades and beyond, but no significant storms

  3. Andy says:

I think this means I’m looking forward to skiing…

  4. Colin says:

Christian Pondella and others skied Bloody Couloir the other day. Photos posted on TGR.
