Mount Baldy - North Face

North face of Mount Baldy (Mt. San Antonio), at 10,000 feet the highest point in the San Gabriel Mountains. In winter, moisture-laden winds often turn Mount Baldy's north face into a giant 45° skating rink, but when conditions are favorable, the skiing can be sublime. Mount Baldy, Southern California.
