Update: Quantum Love Affair Continues

NO IMAGE FOUND!

Just made a few quick edits to my Black Diamond Quantum review. I've now had the pleasure of using both 45 and 55-liter versions of the Quantum. I like the extra volume of the 55, because it makes it easier to sneak your ski boots into the pack for those oh-so-brutal dry Eastern Sierra approaches. So, no surprises here: I continue to love the Quantum. Of all the packs I've tried .

Thanks for the update on the Quantum. I just bought the 55 from BackcountryOutlet.com

Bummer! I did buy the Quantum 55 on Tuesday, but Backcountry just informed me today that they do not have it in stock? Anyone selling a used Quantum? Doubt it.

Thanks

FYI: But...I must say that Backcountry.com does have killer customer service. They handled the whole mishap very well and even gave me a 15% discount on my next purchase.

I've read elsewhere that the material they use for this pack is prone to tear or puncture. Have you experienced any problems with it?

Spencer, there are some holes in my pack where my ski edges rub it, but I use the heck out of it. I wouldn't say it is any less durable than any other pack I've used, and I might say it's a lot more durable. Hope that helps!
